The Easter weekend is an early one this year, running from Friday, 30 March to Monday, 2 April. As usual, there are some works taking place and closures you should know about.
We know you want to start enjoying your long weekend as soon as possible, so we’ve brought together all of the essential info without the fluff. Here’s your quick look at Easter Weekend.
TfL Rail
What’s Closed?
The entire TfL Rail line.

Friday to Monday (20

London Overground
What’s Closed?
Trains won’t run between Romford and Upminster.
When?
Friday to Monday
What’s Closed?
Trains won’t run between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town/ Cheshunt/ Walthamstow Central*
When?
Saturday to Monday.
* Please note, that on Sunday before 10:15 the closure will extend to Chingford.
What’s Closed?
Trains won’t run between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/ West Croydon.
When?
Saturday to Sunday
Northern line
What’s Closed?
Trains won’t run between Charing Cross/ Moorgate and Golders Green/ East Finchley
When?
Friday to Monday
Circle and Hammersmith & City lines
What’s Closed?
Trains won’t run between Edgware Road and Hammersmith on Saturday and Sunday.
When?
Saturday to Sunday
District line
What’s Closed?
Trains won’t run between Edgware Road and High Street Kensington.

Saturday to Sunday.
Other Travel Changes
Rail
National Rail works may affect services to/ from Heathrow, Euston, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Moorgate, Paddington and Waterloo. For more details visit the

Bus
London buses will run the following services:
Good Friday: A Saturday service.
Saturday: A Saturday service.
Easter Sunday: A Sunday service.
Easter Monday: A Sunday service.
Because of the amended timetables for Good Friday and Easter Monday, it will be especially useful to have the live times and a real-time journey planner available. Thankfully,
Bus Times London has both of these things.
DLR
There will be a Saturday service in place on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
