Update 01/03/2016: The Night Tube was pushed back from its original start date after disagreements between TfL and the unions. But after months of disagreements and Tube Strikes (or potential Tube Strikes), the RMT union members have finally agreed on a Night Tube pay offer. A date for the start of the service is yet to be announced.

TfL has released the final version of the official Night Tube Map and the internet is going crazy. (Seriously, mentions of “Tube Map” on Twitter have gone through the roof!)
It may look like a minimalist alternative to the famous Tube Map painted blue, these are the actual lines that will run through the night. Once launched on the 12th of September, the Night Tube will run on Friday and Saturday nights. Here’s a quick run-down of the services as seen on TfL’s website. Central line: Trains will run between Ealing Broadway and Hainault / Loughton (no service between North Acton and West Ruislip; Loughton and Epping; or Woodford and Hainault) Jubilee line: Trains will run on the entire line Northern line: Trains will run on the entire line except on the Mill Hill East and Bank branches Piccadilly line: There will be a service between Cockfosters and Heathrow Terminal 5 (no service on the Terminal 4 loop, or between Acton Town and Uxbridge via Rayners Lane) Victoria line: Trains will run on the entire line It’s all very exciting but it seems like we might be the only ones asking the real questions. Like, who is the best mascot for the Night Tube? Cutesy night owl or strange starry man?
